I never thought I would see Gaga, a mega popstar, calling in to a home shopping network to sell her music. I don't know what to say about that. I'm happy if it gets her to number one, but it seems so budget.

 

There is only so much she can do, since she is out of the country. This has nothing to do with being low budget and everything to do with a final push in a close race, when you aren't physically able to be in the country to do promo.

JaggedMonster already made a good point above about it being an older audience she is targeting since it is a Tony Bennett collaboration and HSN is a good spot to target for that. I didn't think of it in that way and now get it.

I actually kind of like to see that they are promoing this album so hard. Whether or not it makes #1, its nice to see her be passionate it about it
