HANZ 4,380
applause at the vma was her worst performance ever...and it was not her fault cause mtv rejected the original plan. what? It is actually one of my top 5 performances, it never gets old to me, and ahve you seen the youtube reactions for this performance? everybody was slayed My Favs = Lady Gaga, Janet Jackson, Ricky Martin, AKB48
SIRE 75
At least one other performance from the last era should have made it. I also don't agree with the list in general. There is one performance from the ARTPOP era. :smh:

Gypsy Life 118,907
It's time we got back to focusing on Lady Gaga's voice. The irony of this after that 60 for C2C.
Bebe 17,094
applause at the vma was her worst performance ever...and it was not her fault cause mtv rejected the original plan. Applause VMA is one of her best hands down.... Being the canvas, the boos at the start, the cycling of eras, the choreography, the nods to German expressionism, the gazing balls, changing on stage, the Robert Wilson designed set, the applause at the end of the performance as if she has won everyone back. It was brilliantly choreographed and put together.
ByeBye49 161
I prefer the applause acoustic performance, but then again I love all of them :P

Everything was rushed. But we know the problem she had with troy and MTV so was not her fault.

Everything was rushed. Yes of course I have, that doesn't affect my opinion on the performance we got... I suppose we'll just have to agree to disagree, it quite obviously wasn't rushed though. Also Telephone/DIDT from The Brit awards clearly deserved a spot on that list too.Travesty.

We've all heard about it... and this more simplistic take on the song was the more appropriate way to go anyway.
