At least one other performance from the last era should have made it. I also don't agree with the list in general.

There is one performance from the ARTPOP era. :smh:

:wtf: Applause VMA is one of her best hands down....

Being the canvas, the boos at the start, the cycling of eras, the choreography, the nods to German expressionism, the gazing balls, changing on stage, the Robert Wilson designed set, the applause at the end of the performance as if she has won everyone back. It was brilliantly choreographed and put together.

have you ever read about the original performance plans ( dissident talked about it http://www.dissidentusa.com/ but the article was removed sadly ) ? i guess no...only the intro and stage were well designed, her costumes and wig looked cheap and her vocals were not good as usual. Everything was rushed. But we know the problem she had with troy and MTV so was not her fault.

Yes of course I have, that doesn't affect my opinion on the performance we got...

I suppose we'll just have to agree to disagree, it quite obviously wasn't rushed though.

Also Telephone/DIDT from The Brit awards clearly deserved a spot on that list too.Travesty.

We've all heard about it... and this more simplistic take on the song was the more appropriate way to go anyway.
