'Cheek to Cheek' Receipts Thread - sold 1.2M+ WW, 717k US

Featured Posts

Sales are how many copies were actually bought by people, shipments are how many copies are ordered by retail chains (like Target and similar chains) to sell to people.

Some charts rank the sales, some do the shipments and some rank neither (like the German Album Charts)

Thank youuuuuu

I think she and Tony should do some promo in the UK. As soon as they were on SCD over there, the album climbed the charts. Jazz is bigger in the UK than it is the US. There is easily at least 100k albums that can be sold in the UK with some more promo there.

I don't think so... Jazz is US standard. UK is really supporting the album tbh

You are right it's a US standard, but there a huge audience that love Jazz in the UK.

They have had major artists do Jazz albums.

Amy Winehouse

Annie Lenox (Scotish)

Robbie Williams

My main point though is that they only did one appearance together in the UK to promote the album. Thats all I could find on them doing promo in the UK. They should do some more promo over there.

Worlwide certifications don't exist!

Well there's no ''official'' WW certifications, but in WW charts like mediatraffic an album or song is considered as platinum when it reaches 2 million copies.
