It totally makes sense that she planned the artRAVE whilst recovering - it's just a fun party where she can let loose that has a lot of opportunity for improvisation, unlike the BTWB in which everything had to be expertly timed due to all the moving props and stage interaction. So that's interesting to me.And since she's gone on record as saying Tony helped her to sing after her depressive bout this winter, that quote about him teaching her she doesn't have to be on top all the time explains to me why she chose G.U.Y. as a single. I am sure that song is a metaphor for career struggle as well as for power bottoms, and even though it wasn't successful I hope she's developed the kind of mindset that will help her deal with that. There is a difference. They sort of pick on Gaga in a subtle way that he has never acknowledged her at all and has never mentioned her work. Say what you will, but this is how it looks to me.
