No one does that!! She isn't going to just abandon her sound. Its something intrinsic to a writer. I don't get why so many ppl are really worried that she is going to do an extreme genre jump. I really don't see that happening. You COULD say, and many do, that BTW was her "rock" album. But its still pop/Gaga!! Even if she is inspired by other influences- it will be JUST THAT. An influence. I wasn't serious. But honestly, it's pretty formulaic and generic pop...just like all the songs on the radio right now. Is she just not going to do anything with the 90+ songs she writes for each album? Probably not. All artists, who write their own music, will tell you they have 80-150 songs for each album written for any given album. Many of those songs never make it to demo status and some aren't even complete songs per say- just bits and pieces. This is how it is with all songwriter-artists.
