LilVenusian 579
My personal hope is that she tries something very Bowie-inspired for the next album, perhaps a concept album or one where the music flows from one song into the next. She has what it takes to really let her creativity fly. Her work up until now has been very functional, as though she's holding back. I really wish she (or Interscope/management) would let herself become the best artist she can be. ^^This It pains me when gaga claims Bowie is her biggest influence when we hardly ever see it in her approach to writing her albums. 6 years into her career and shes still churning out well polished pop albums one after another and its really starting to get boring. I want too see her push herself even further and make something truly grand and ambitious . I think managment/record label are not solely to blame. Gaga seems like the type of artist that really wants to please her fans which I think can be limiting to ones creativity. She probably doesnt want to get too crazy or experimental in fear that the fan base/GP will reject it.

But also Alejandro, Dance in the Dark and Aura and G.U.Y have the same feel of this pic imo. so not basically just born this way. I mean really electronic and dark industrial but still pop. I like the songs you listed, but I just wasn't really into BTW. I just don't want to revisit that whole feeling so soon, Maybe in like 5-10 years.
