This is definitely news to me really though? Sorry for sounding sceptical, but you're saying it yourself it's because it's not considered gay. I think she should perform in Dubai and use her show as a platform to speak out against their homophobic laws, just like she did in Russia. I was just observing that the GGD users who didn't want her to perform in Isreal are no where to be found in the threads about her performing in Dubai. I'm here. Homophobia is obviously terrible (among other morally questionable - all that wealth inequality - and objectionable - slavery - issues). I hope Gaga can go to Dubai and spread her message of love, equality and acceptance. It is what she does best. The issue in Israel is the ongoing apartheid and wars and the undoubted role that the government and army had in killing thousands of people instead of sueing for peace. I met a gay couple of tourists there from my country. There are also gay clubs, and hell even hookers Homoeroticism (is that the correct word?) is very normal in the Middle East. Straight guys hug eachother, hold eachothers hand, flirt with eachother all the time. That's normal there, my parents told a story about a bus in Yemen they were in (when you could still visit it as a tourist without being kidnapped), and they say that all the men there were hugging and playing with eachother in that aspect, it's actually way less conservative. Well you can be openly gay and talk about it and even protest for gays in most middle eastern countries like Dubai, Kuwait, Lebanon... They even have gay clubs and men who dress like women!
