squeala 875
do you have any evidence for these things she's supposedly said i have a copy of seven with the new interview but i never made these leaps of logic
holy scheisse 22,272
Im disappointed that she gave up on ARTPOP, although it very well may have been her label that pulled the plug. just so much went wrong : only 2 videos... i expected 15! lol but otherwise, no, im proud to stan for the one and only queen
TheQueen 18
I'm disappointed with floppy fans who say they're disappointed in her. She's just one person, every sentence she speaks won't appeal to everyone, every song she writes won't appeal to everyone, every record she puts out won't necessarily 'beat' the previous one. People need to stop complaining and then compare what she's achieved against what they as an individual have achieved and then take a damn seat. Emvee 8,403
She was talking about her show all those times she said that. Her music is a completely different matter and she never directly said if it was or wasn't controlled or at least guided by her label.
djBuffoon 12,120
why do you care about the fanbase though , but she I don't understand.
Whispering 18,865
No. She has as much control as any other artist signed to any kind of label has, but every label artist has a boss. Add in the fact that she is signed to one of the big three and that labels are struggling more and more over the course of the last few years and you have a changing music industry. It's as simple as that.
RBNLM 1,640
She is in control of her ideas, but she's a popstar and obviously she can't be in control of everything.
Guest
Nope, I never believed she would have all control in the beginning of her career in a big label.
Nazgul 186
Having said that, no, I'm not. I am disappointed in the fanbase, though. :trootea: :trootea: :trootea: :trootea:
Benji 20,113
She's being very dramatic when she talks about her previous self. She doesn't seem to understand that she's changed in those years. Flashback when she was working with Fusari, no one to please, working on a sound that wasn't in the mainstream, one she danced and had fun to.... that ended up being a huge part of The Fame... now you're telling me all of that was controlled by a record label? She was being controlled when she was laughing and dancing to the songs her and Fusari were making in private videos he later released? Please. She can't accept that she's grown and is wanting to try and she her old skin so she's lashing out. One thing you learn being a Gaga fan is take everything with a pinch of salt and remember Gaga's next album is her "best" and her previous weren't "her".... how many years do we have to hear this before we remember she's very dramatic? :dead:
craig 680
She never said she has complete control over how her songs were produced.Maybe there are issues of vocal production were she went along and only lately has formed strong opinions. GagaMyBlood95 9,915
You've got it all wrong honey, she said she was in charge of many things, artistic vision etc... But in the end they would modulate those things in order to be released under their conditions... Everything she released - she wrote/coproduced etc... So nothing is a "BIG LIE" like you said. craig 680
Even Kate Bush, known for always doing it her way, re-released some albums 20 years later as she was unhappy with original production.
