I'm glad she released it. Even though I don't like the songs that much

Yes, of course! Why should I not? There's no logical reason to not be happy with a release of new music from her, especially with the long gap between 2011 and 2013. ARTPOP, purely as an album, has nothing to do with the mishaps that had happened before and during its release. An album coming after an abrupt tour cancellation is bound to be received less warmly. An album which was caught in the middle of a sudden change in management is bound to get messy at the very least. Regardless if it's named ARTPOP or not, the adverse reaction will still be there because there are things which simply cannot be controlled. It's unfair to put the blame on the album itself, when other factors had clearly dampened the situation way before the album was even released.

yeah... better that than still no new music after 2.5 years :manicure:

although I would like her not to listen to the label and to stick to her original idea for it from 2011/2012 and not make a messy era... but it's just history now...

I really hope for a change for the better cause it all starts getting annoying

ARTPOP is a great album. The album art, tour, and performances (except for SXSW) Were amazing. The tour is great, the type brought me all the way to Boston from Florida and I got to see a good friend again because of it. Chart success had me bummed at the beginning of the era but I've realized the stupidity of worrying about the charts. Overall the album has made my life bright and brought me new opportunities and enjoyment. And that's what matters

Tokyo Rose

We got some form of ARTPOP. She said she wrote hundreds of songs and the label selected tracks and single.

I think she needed more time
