Why is it registered as an EP then? It is by Interscope and all the labels who distribute the album.

Because Interscope is a stupid label who markets things for monetary reasons.

She spent a lot of studio time, she's doing promotion, music videos and there's even going to be a world TOUR (something the other "side projects" DIDN'T have) so 100% YES this should be apart of her main discography no questions asked about it. :reductive:

Daenerys of the House Targaryen, the First of Her Name, The Unburnt, Queen of the Andals, the Rhoynar and the First Men, Queen of Meereen

Yes. The singles should however be promo as they are not released to radio

They shouldn't come on Gaga's main singles list in Wikipedia

Nope, this is a Tony Bennett & Lady Gaga album, as if they are a duo group, apart from their solo careers. If that make sense.

Also, it's consisted of covers so it's not really in her main discography

Side project for me

This tbh.

EDIT: Actually, I will not consider any album full of covers a real album.

So basically Tony, Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald and Billie Holiday are legends despite never having released a "real" album? I guess Tonys 17 Grammies are for fake albums too

It is a Gaga album but not a main album. Kind of like Madonna with Something to Remember. I consider a Madonna album but not something like Bedtime Stories or Ray of Light which came before and after respectively.

I think just doing covers is a waste of talent. A few covers here and there are great (even an album or two that are spaced out). However, I appreciate artists who put out original records much more.

In jazz voice is considered an instrument, and great instrumentalists are respected just as much as great songwriters.

If they just cover songs I don't consider them a real artist, just a singer. :ohwell:
