Not the PETA founder mentioning Gaga ...

She seems indeed very passionate. Here's an interview with her:

She admires Peter Singer.

see, you can see she sees the humour in it too. it's funny. her interjection about gaga was funny. the silly peta mario/pokemon games are funny. of course she has a motive - she doesn't want people to use animals for entertainment. but as you can see in this interview she's much gentler than she seems, even advocating doing a single thing in favour of the animals simply because it means you're doing something kind. not as staunch as people assume. and peter singer is great about this subject.

I don't understand what y'alls problem with them is. They have a wonderful idealogy and mission and have done good thing for animal rights. Ingrid Newkirk seems like a very warm, congenial woman.

But as she said in the article, she (and her organization) can be overbearing to say in the least. I agree that their methods can be rather... strange... and that they sometimes seem to care more about the spotlight and the animals.

But please, don't rip them to shreds. They're an animal rights group. They're gonna exaggerate and use language that casts animal rights violators/"violators" (Gaga) in a bad light.

i like it when u treat me mean it turns my mood from black to blue

I do agree.

But: I just found this on the web and thought it was very interesting to read and also agree in many ways:

Guess it's always difficult to debate and philosophize about moral/animal ethics etc. ...

Bloody Matt

Peta doesnt even care about animals they are a money grabbing company.

All they care about is to threaten big names like Pokemon and now Gaga.

I highly doubt they do anything for animals in real danger.

What did they say about Pokemon? :toofunny:
