Quark 7,016
o<(0_0)>o With the ARTPOP era, I have realized that many fans here care more about the promo than the actually product Gaga is giving us. For example, many people spend most of their time complaining about how many promo mistakes Gaga made, instead of talking about the music, performances, and or music videos Gaga gave us. WH0RE 1
well during ARTPOP the music was overshadowed by how bad the era was handled compared to her other eras

8Bit Heart 66
Obviously, the promo is what keeps the era going, if the era is short lived she might as well not put out singles. Promo keeps the momentum going and keeps the fans excited about the development of the album era.

Henry 2,374
I care about both. I care about good promo because Gaga deserves to be on top of the charts because she is amazing
Quark 7,016
But that's the issue. What performances and what videos? An entire album of songs, 3 music videos (counting ARTPOP film), At least 7 TV performances, 2 festivals, and the artrave.

Quark 7,016
well during ARTPOP the music was overshadowed by how bad the era was handled compared to her other eras And this is the problem. Fans cared more about the promo, than the product. They are the ones that let the promo overshadow what is most important.
Hellspont 1,468
Apparently its a numbers game, I love everything we got this "Era" getting tired of that term too.
Mills 446
For the product to be more and be fully appreciated, promotion is extremely needed. That's a general rule. Even if one puts out the best product there is, if there's little to minimal promo, less appreciation would inevitably be given to it by the fanbase and the potential audience at the end of the day. But that doesn't automatically mean that they care MORE about the promo than the product itself. The product will always be the top concern among consumers, others like promo will always be secondary. Without it, there won't be something for people to rave, criticise, buy, and seek other features like promo for it. Â
