Max Martin and Dr. Luke are Gaga's real competition, it seems nobody in the pop production game can compete.

Last week I heard what sounded like an unfamiliar Katy Perry song on the radio. Then I realized it was Swift's new single. Commonality? Max Martin.

Gaga isn't their competition. They run mainstream pop, she doesn't.

It is unhealthy and historically unusual for 2 people to run pop to that degree.

They make lots of good songs, but pop wouldn't seem so generic if they had some competition.

I meant the irony of someone calling him a "genious" spelled incorrectly

Oh and by the way he's not a genius at all, just a good business man who can cater to the masses.

I agree and I don't like the state pop music is in. I'm talking from a charts perspecitive, Gaga is an ant and they are anteaters.

Gratz. Most of them Katy's song. :applause:

It's crazy that he was involved with the launch of the biggest pop star on the planet with "...Baby one more time" and then almost a decade later helped Katy Perry break out with "I kissed a girl". He also produced Problem for Ariana Grande who could also end up being a pretty big force in the industry.

I also wish there was a little more diversity and competition in the pop world, but credit where credit is due. That is an incredible and mind blowing feat. :applause:
