Did Born This Way age well?

That's so true, and such a good way of putting it instead of "ShAmELESs PrOMO OMGZ"

I guess some people don't know the difference between being passionate and promoting only. She truly believed in her message and on that album. She went against many people who told her to stop, even her fans, who have been criticizing her since then. That's the most inspiring thing, the fact that she never heard any of that hate and kept promoting love and acceptance. And I love her for that. That's what Gaga is to me, after all. What makes her so interesting and fascinating is her strong beliefs on the potential of her work.

Born this Way is a masterpiece. It got unnecessary hate because of the hype, expectations, madonna comparisons, and the 99 cent deal, but taken for what it is- it is pop gold.

Seriously an amazing album.

Absolutely. There's a reason the era was able to last 2 years, because the music was phenomenal.

It's certainly better than ARTPOP. marry the night, scheisse, edge of glory, highway unicorn and judas are all really great songs but the rest of the album falls flat for me.

Not HML?  :omg:

One of the most boring gaga songs in my opinion with a very lazy chorus.

It's still my favorite Gaga album and I feel it aged better than ARTPOP (although I love both).

I think as a piece, it is a great album. It is one that will be remembered years from now when people look back on her career, regardless of how it performed, or how many singles there were, etc. It truly was a one of a kind piece at the time--not many artists made albums with such cohesive ideas, and such strong messages. It was musical art.

Imo the instrumental is gorgeous and the songwriting might be lazy but it's catchy af :legend:

Electric Chapel is a really boring one to me.
