Young British star Sam Smith had previously been reported to be the favourite for the job, and to have been in talks with producer Barbara Broccoli. But now reports that Del Rey is also under consideration. A source told the paper: "Producers know it has to be a great song with a killer vocal to rival the phenomenal success of Adele's Skyfall. "Sam seems like the favourite but Lana could definitely give him a run for his money."
