danhale 0
Fat people have always been victimized, bullied and made fun of just because of their weight, so now that these "skinny b---hes" are getting made fun of (if so) they can experience what the overweight population has always felt. So, don't throw a boomerang if you are not gonna catch it back.

Stefani328 321
Too many songs with "skinny b---hes" in the lyrics nowadays The fact that we can't even tell which one isn't a good sign at all LOL. Didn't Nicki say something about skinny b---hes in Anaconda? I can't remember since I only saw the video once and that was enough.
RabbitHeart 795
Both songs deserve the criticism. I love Anaconda but that whole "f**k the skinny b*tches in the club" line upsets me to no end (and I'm not even skinny ). At the same time I can't stand AATB because it makes it seem like your worth as an individual is dependent on how hot men see you to be and men only find larger girls hot. It's gross. Neptune 156
I like Anaconda, but this is soo true! Not just that song, but usually. Overweight people act really rude sometimes. And Nicki is nobody to talk about overweight since she's all plastic. That's the most ironic thing. She would be a "skinny b---h in the club" if she didn't have the money to put on some saline. Miel 15,009
Fat people have always been victimized, bullied and made fun of just because of their weight, so now that these "skinny b---hes" are getting made fun of (if so) they can experience what the overweight population has always felt. So, don't throw a boomerang if you are not gonna catch it back. Not the greatest point, but it's true. I've been reading a lot of people's opinions on the whole "fat shaming", "skinny shaming", "body/thin privilege" debacle and to be completely honest, it's messy. Is it rude to deem people with less weight "skinny b---hes"? Yes, absolutely, and I personally feel that most songs with lyrics of that context take away from the point they are intending (usually body positivity). However, it's kind of odd all of a sudden to see people jump quick and start saying how it's horrible to degrade/objectify/make fun of skinny people, and have their point so quickly taken. Not that they're wrong, because I agree it is rude, but looking at it in the bigger picture, it's a bit disconcerting. For the last few decades or so, media and society has imposed aesthetic standards onto us as a population, usually the typical Euro-centric look (ethereal, thin, white, and such- racial and ethnic implications aside, as that's another, even bigger argument). Now that it's challenged, it has shaken a nerve. My point isn't that Natalia shouldn't deserve to be offended- she has every right to. My point is that so many are viewing this whole issue in a counter-intuitive, one-sided manner. In the end, nobody should be shamed for their body type, be it larger or smaller, skinnier or fatter, toned or not. What makes the whole debacle messy is the "privilege" (social justice warrior lingo, I know, but it's the best definition) of those already with the "privilege" making arguments the "oppressed" has been shouting for years. This is definitely applicable to several other situations, too, and it's a bit scary to see it all converge. Just my opinion. my anaconda dont want none of natalia kills' words we all know its not right to shame any body type but dont act so offended give the big gurls a moment of glory seeing how theyve spent decades being labeled in pop culture as "unnatractive" due to their size.
