A fan comments on Gaga's looks - Freddie snaps

It's obvious they're becoming more protective and sensitive with Gaga. Are any of you surprised?

These are the people who are closest to her. They know what's up. I know Gaga reads this site and it probably upsets her that she's contantly bashed on her own fan site. And, you know, to a certain degree, I don't blame them.

On the other hand, they need to stop paying attention to the fan base. I know Gaga feels she needs to know what her fans are thinking and how they're reacting to her work, but at this point, it's not productive at all. It's actually detrimental. The majority of the crowd is yelling at her to do more ~promo~ so she can ~smash~ when she doesn't even want to do that anymore.

At first I didn't understand, but then I realized people are talking about Gaga's weight again. It doesn't matter to me if she's thin or not :D

The person didn't even @ gaga so its not like they were maliciously wanting her too see. The Haus of Gaga should be focuesd on making her next groundbreaking look or stage prop, not defending her against silly 12 year olds on Twitter. 2009/2010 Haus of Gaga would never...

Another day another homos-xual bringing attention to how skinny they are. Nothing new. Unnecessary drama.

He should have ignored it but if someone said that you (your friend) has big/fat arms I don't think you'd ignore it. Y'all can't take a joke here how could you take an insult.

I don't get why they don't just ignore stuff like this and stop searching for Gaga on Twitter and focus on important stuff or the joys of life. Replying to a tweet like this only draws more attention to it.

I think that would be smart. I can definitely understand being protective but it unfortunately only brings about more criticisms. If he had to reply, I think the smart thing for him to do would have been to tweet "Yeah, she's getting 'pumped up' for the next era!" or "Touring is such a great workout! Ha ha" and then posted a really s-xy, fit, recent photo of Gaga. It keeps it friendly/fun, deflects any negativity or any sort of PR nightmare, AND promotes the tour while showing Gaga in a positive light.

I really think Gaga and her team would do well to flat out ignore/block the negativity. I know it's hard and can be frustrating but when you are surrounded by friends and fans it is easier to focus on the good. If it really gets to her (and she HAS to respond) turn it into a positive. For every bad tweet she sees, post something positive. If someone tweets Gaga is a has been, then post a pic of fans at an event, with a message of love and appreciation for her fans that came to her show. If someone says her music sucks, post a pic of her working with a icon, even if it's an older pic, and reminisce about the experience and the privalege of working with a legend. Focus only on the positive and refuse to see the negative. Criticism is great for an artist to grow, but rarely is there any constructive criticism found on Twitter. So ignore it,or turn it positive. The haters then have nothing to work with, and the public thinks better of you.

Just repeat to yourself, "It's just a show. I should really just relax."

The person that tweeted this was wasn't even trying to harass Gaga, he was just some random obscure fan whining about her weight. I guess I agree with the posters that feel Gaga's team should just be above this kind of stuff.

It's true, the a--lysis of her weight is not nice, it's harsh. That said, it comes with the territory of being famous and they should know this by now instead of coming after some 2 bit Little Monster with a small handful of followers on twitter.

There are millions of fans that comment on how beautiful she is that get no response at all.
