Gaga Accidentally Tweets Fan Negatively

I mean is kind of obvious that Gaga is not lazy, specially if you are a fan (like this twitter person). So I think Gaga was actually tame with her choice of words. But obviously is was a mistake that Gaga made. But for a moment Gaga thought it was a real insult. And in that moment Gaga had the right to defend herself.

Even if it's "obvious" that she's not lazy, that doesn't make her response professional. It was a poor choice of words. Even if it was an insult, it doesn't make her response professional. Yes, she had the right to defend herself, but it was still unprofessional. There was nothing professional about her response.

I hope she apologized to the fan but you act like she needs to be stoned because she made a mistake.

What? I said she should apologise? :rip:

Obviously. My opinion is that you're entitled. I don't see your point.

I was blasted in front of millions by my idol for a false accusation that she went out of her way to look for and I just thought a small apology would be cool

How entitled I am.

Take a moment to think of just flexibility, love, and trust~

I agree that she could make better music outside of the constraints of pop, but she's not going to abandon the genre so readily after one bad era. Every huge artist has rabid fans, the problem is Gaga chained herself to her fanbase years ago and they respect her less for it. It's like in school, if a teacher gets really friendly and lenient with the students, then the students respect the teacher less because the barrier is gone, there's no more illusion of power.

She doesn't need to leave pop, she just needs to unchain herself from her fanbase and do what's best for her career. I'm sure she's aware by now that the less promises she makes and the less she hypes things up, the less chances there are for things to go sour.

I don't know, she does talk a lot of music outside of pop. Not to mention, there is new management, and I suspect Gaga's contract with Interscope is coming to an end...

I don't know if it is she chained herself to her fanbase or that the fanbase chained themselves to her, because it looks like she is distancing herself from us, and care less about our opinions (as it should be). While she may have chained herself to the fanbase, like all fanbases (particularly music) there is a seperation of us. there are those who enjoy Gaga in all genres, those who only like Gaga doing pop (and absolutely nothing else) and the others who I am to tired to mention. Depending on what she does, she can easily unchain herself, or at least loosen the chain, between her and certain parts of the fanbase.

I get she probably can't really remove the chain, but she can make it distant, lengthen the chain.

However, I don't think Gaga will ever stop making promises. She's an optmistic artist. She makes promises about projects she thinks she can keep. I know how she feels. I still do the same (occasionally) with some of my artistic endeavors.

I think professionalism goes out the window when you are very heated. It happens to all of us really.

You're the one who's overreacting and causing unnecessary drama here.

We all know it wasn't handled properly. She misread it. I say this because your posts make it sound like she can't make mistakes. If she's human, she can.

Of course, it's totally natural and happens to everyone. However, it really shouldn't take place on social media where the fans, media, and GP can all see it.

Judging from the fan's twitter she's feeling much better now and Gaga seems to have followed her. Hopefully this means she has/will apologize for the misunderstanding.
