The music was bland, the fashion was boring, it's like we were going through a withdraw of catchy, crazy, fun music. No one was doing anything new or interesting since the 1990's. Gaga changed everything with songs and videos like Poker Face whether you choose to acknowledge it or not. She brought something interesting to music that has been missing for about a decade. My point is, after Turn Down For What, after Katy Perry, after all these weird and new songs, what's popular? Ariana Grande,Iggy Azalea, All About That Bass... These songs/artists are great songs but they lack something exciting, something new. In the early 2000's Hip Hop and Rap were becoming more popular, and that's exactly what's happening now... My point is what we need is Gaga, she's the only artist that can change this, but with her doing Jazz I think we might be stuck in one of these boring lackluster era's in music for a while... I think it's gonna go downhill for a while, but hopefully it picks itself up.
