Dylanica 15
I'm actually not surprised. Anybody else?
Aura Veil 2,395
I hope they've learned their lesson: excluding One Direction, Justin Beiber or Lady Gaga will never result in a popular show. Better luck next time. Edited August 26, 2014 by Aura Veil
FGGrayson 9,670
Even Beyoncé was boring 𝗟𝗮𝗱𝘆 𝗚𝗮𝗴𝗮 • 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘆 𝗠𝗼𝗼𝗿𝗲 • 𝗦𝗼𝗽𝗵𝗶𝗲-𝗘𝗹𝗹𝗶𝘀 𝗕𝗲𝘅𝘁𝗼𝗿 • 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘀 𝗝𝗮𝗰𝗸𝘀𝗼𝗻
ALX 170
You can sit at home all you like and "drag" his career while he performs at the VMA's to critical acclaim and makes a **** load of money, I'm sure somebody will listen to you at some point Here's hoping you'll learn a lesson in manners from how people have reacted to your cheap, judgmental comment about his weight :) BAN HA. ByeBye49 161
More entertaining than the actual performance.
JustPokeHerFace 2,564
Gaga isn't the only one to make the VMAs interesting when she goes, but everytime she's gone (since 2009) ratings have been higher and the show's been better. Look at 2012 and 2014's ratings. According to Wikipedia, they were 6.13 and 6.30 million, respectively. Now look at the years Gaga has attended. 2009: 8.97 million 2010: 11.4 million 2011: 12.4 million (highest viewership of any of the VMAs) 2013: 10.1 million

thatfoxyfeeling 12,951
Sam Smith was awful, and the fact that he remixed his song with Capitol's payola for success isn't impressive to me, AT ALL. How was he awful? The performance was flawless.
JustPokeHerFace 2,564
well, as long as she's helping someone, i don't give a **** tbh um nooo VMA 2014 would a snoozefest with these generic pop/rap songs without him last night His performance was great but the VMAs were a snoozefest regardless. Valextra 58
Some parts were good, but I kinda agree that it was missing a spark Which is weird because I enjoyed most of the performances, but it felt a bit hollow Exactly this, it was missing that spark that only a few artists like Gaga, Britney, Madonna, ecc. could give to that show. Beyoncé was perfect, but maybe the fact that she performed at the end make people already done with the show...
Wet Fire 7,154
Mess. The punishment for snubbing Gaga :whitney:
Koreku 2,387
it was better than last year's tbh Slayga's Applause performance Miley's iconic mess 2014 could nevah :whitney: You don't deserve a point of view if the only thing you see is you. Wet Fire 7,154
If they didn't give Beyonce the MJ video vanguard then the show would've been more dead.
TheOriginalOne 10,348
This thread is more entertaining than what I heard the show was.
