Adakam 2 Posted August 24, 2014 Share Posted August 24, 2014 Actually I'm glad she didnt put any original song in it, its extremely risky and would take the focus away from the album, C2C is mainly her showing her roots, her vocal power, to show that she can go serious, and collaborate with a true legend, if she put Paradise or any other song in there, then everyone will just be expecting that song, and unless it is perfect, they would eat her alive for attempting something like that, Jazz is one of the hardest genres to write, and that is a fact with "just covers" shes opening the door for original songs afterwards, now that the world knows she can perform it, now lets see if she can write it. not putting originals in there is the best move she could do and dont even get me started on a full original jazz album, thats career suicide guaranteed Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
