You mentioned popular music changes and shifts, which it does... Bringing that up insinuates that jazz could become popular? No? There's not many hysterics though, people said they don't want two jazz albums on the trot.... That isn't hysterical? I'm basing this belief off of this site and the next largest pure Gaga forum; Gaga Daily. I'm personally looking forward to C2C, hence why I am still here but I'm not liking the idea of having two consecutive albums of it. I wasn't here for a ACT 2 of ARTPOP unless it was fairly low key because I'm not in love with it like previous albums.... It's just opinions and so far not many opinions are looking forward to two jazz albums being released one after another. I'm here for current plans, not this rumour though! I'm not going to take a break because of a rumour, that's just idiotic! Anyway good night! If you want to carry this on further them I'll be sure to catch up with you when I wake up No, it doesn't in anyway insinuate that I believe jazz music will become mainstream. I believe the only chance of getting any mainstream airplay is if there is a song that will work during the holiday season and HAC puts it on their playlists. I mentioned changing music due to the fact that we can't foresee what trend will come about and therefore Gaga should not try to write music to fit a trend and the fact that changing trends means that different artists will not fit in at certain times. Never have I ever thought that pure jazz covers will become the next trend in pop music. Some of the comments are hysterical because people are declaring all sorts of things due to a rumor and an upcoming era that they have no idea how it will play out. Even if this second jazz album ends up being correct, that doesn't mean Gaga won't be going back to some form of Pop, whether it is Pop Rock, Acoustic Pop, or Pop Rock ballads. She may or may not end up incorporating some jazz flavor, in some way, on a new album of original songs. That was just a thought, nothing more. The hysterics are due to people jumping to conclusions, over something that may very we'll not even play out. I've said that since the beginning. It is for fun, some people here are just very opinionated (not in good way) over Gaga, almost every damn time, even to the littlest thing possible. To the point I ponder to myself why are they still here if it will only ruin their days? They can't seem ever be happy for whatever Gaga choose to do. So I wanna troll them around. What you guys forget is that Gaga's music is her career, her life, her livelihood, her paycheck, but most important: HER LEGACY. She's not going to die having lived her life in the music industry being a "one-trick pony". Right now is her chance to validate herself again as an artist & singer. Now is her time to branch out in music and do something different and right now Tony Bennett is a wide open door. This Jazz era that she is going through shows growth and versatility, something many pop artists today lack. I also want to note that in the music industry talking to other artists, sometimes there are plans to collaborate and work together on projects, but many of those projects either never get worked on, or NEVER EVEN GET RELEASED! Can we please flashback to the hundreds of supposed collabs Gaga did with others, but we never saw. So y'all need to chill about a second jazz album. One Jazz album ok, two : NO thank you ! Let her do what she wants.... She isn't quitting pop. She is still writing music, even if Jazz isn't your thing you can't just expect her to release music that only you like. What does it matter to you if she keeps releasing Jazz albums, that she obviously loves, in between her other pop efforts? I have quite liked her Jazz side so far, so i'm excited for this.
