I really wish there was a way to properly audit all these fake accounts. It's not ok. I don't care who ends up on top. These kinds of deceptions are truly disgusting. We all know there are stans out there rich enough and hardcore enough to be buying Gaga followers with their own money. And it isn't like this is the first time we've heard about it for it to be considered an exposé. Almost all, if not all, major celebrities who are atop the social media sites are greatly benefitting to fake followers. Exaggerating one's popularity online is a classic marketing approach with the aim of getting more bandwagon effect.
