colours 128 Posted August 13, 2014 Share Posted August 13, 2014 It was definitely her best album from all aspects of being a mainstream pop musician. She hustled her ass off for this album. Even while touring, she still put out great music videos, plenty of photo shoots, tv interviews and performances, wore something new everyday that was also consistent with the looks she was wearing for the whole week. It was so interesting checking up on her everyday and seeing a new interview/photo shoot or performance. Unless you were a fan 2008-2010 then you don't really understand, but the ARTPOP era of her career has definitely been her most lackluster album cycle of them all. I guess fans these days get excited over ****ty instagram photos of her dog and fake lips rather than seeing her perform.
