Klinky 2 Posted December 4, 2014 Share Posted December 4, 2014 I think that if she does a 'pop' album it isn't going to be trendy dance music; she's kind of been hinting lately that in the past her producers were controlling the production to give her songs a more standard pop appeal. I always wonder when we get a really good live version of a song (like ARTPOP on Jimmy Fallon, for example) if that's what Gaga wanted it to sound like on the album. TonzaPOP123 142 Posted December 10, 2014 Author Share Posted December 10, 2014 Hello guys! :) I have seriously gotten my Scheiße (only Monsters get that :D) together and changed my opinion a lot, even though still I would like to hear TEA or Onion Girl or any other songs that didn't make it to ARTPOP. I'm not really into jazz (even though I LOVE Gaga's voice in the cover songs, some of them are even relaxing like Ev'ry Time We Say Goodbye!) , but I don't want Gaga to do BASIC pop music either. I just want NEW quality music from her. I still listen to ARTPOP, almost every day, along with Born This Way. The Fame Monster and The Fame :) but I can wait, because I have many other things in my life going on right now (f.e. high school/studying, movies, etc.) and even if Gaga takes a one year break next year I don't really mind. :D Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

We know it will be somewhat pop or still have some pop elements, but fused heavily with rock or some other genre or genres. But I know what will be brilliant on how to release the deluxe version. U2 released their standard album for free, but what is brilliant for me as a fan is how they released their deluxe version that you paid for. Disk 1 is the standard 11 songs. Disk 2 contains 11 songs. First are two strong bonus tracks, and then two amazing alternative versions of two of their best songs on the standard album, and then the other six songs from the standard album performed acoustically, and then a hidden song, which is a stand-alone single they had released the year before, not written for the standard album. That's like a completely new album on disk 2 because it's 11 songs. I have only recently focused on the second disk and have fallen in love with it. The alternative versions are amazing. One is from a different perspective so lyrics even changed in places, and one is just redone differently as far as backing vocals and arrangement in places and adding strings and vocally delivered differently. And some of the acoustic versions are even better than the standard album or just a nice change. One acoustic version is being played on the radio almost as much as the album version. And I love the idea of a hidden track added on, which is a single she releases while on hiatus to give the fans something new while waiting. Think about it. We all love Gaga's acoustic versions of her songs live. Why not do that on her album on a second disk for some of the songs that really translate well to acoustic versions. And I love the idea of Gaga doing a few alternative versions of songs from her album and putting it on a second disk. Not acoustic versions, but truly alternative versions of the song. For an artist like Gaga, so unique, alternative versions of a few songs would play so well to her fans. And of course a couple of strong bonus tracks. It's such an embarrassment of riches to have for a new release and you never tire of the album that way. For U2's album, I've kind of fallen in love with the disk 2 version after playing the standard version for a few months now, and many fans love the disk 2 more than the original version. Plus for promo they have been able to switch up their songs playing them several different ways (before Bono injured himself). Gaga always promos her songs acoustically in some performances, but that doesn't do anything for you if it's not on the album. It is just a great performance.
