DriverMonster 10
No, that was Mary Jane Holland. But Brooklyn Nights could also be. I'm not sure. This! "I wrotte more than 100 songs for ARTPOP" which means she has more than 100 scribbles or little recording of ideas or lyrics in no way is there actually 100 or 85 demos ready to go....(kind side tracking but does anyone know if Brooklyn nights was the track her sound guy was saying was ment to be on BTW but didn't make the cut and now was going to be on ARTPOP? if not do we know which one it is??)I agree. It's horribke. You can judge it by looking back at past eras. I'd say this is by far the worst decade of music. Well it all depends what you consider relevant. I think most current pop music is the most irrelevant music being made right now so I guess we'll just agree to disagree
Born Brave 2,072
I think by "POP" for this fanbase standards means "EDM Music" And EDM on the Top 40 charts does not exist anymore. It's dead- People on here want her to be successful but they are gonna cry if she doesn't do an EDM album that would be destined to flop.

Maybe you should find another group that will keep you as busy as Gaga is keeping you, during an era where you are "taking a break".

AlbiCalderone 234
Guys, I don't think she will ever stop doing Pop music. Also, an acoustic album doesnt mean a "not pop album" it could just be pop songs in an acoustic version. Something near Adele's kind of pop music, but less depressing and not produced. Also, if gaga really wants to make an acoustic album don't you think she could just release 2 versions of the same album? An acoustic version and a produced version. Once she will have a bunch of songs written for the album, why shouldn't she produce them too? Honestly tho, even if she releases just an acoustic album I will be okay with it. I really think she could write lot of songs in the next months, take a bunch of them to release an acoustic album in 2015 an+a little acoustic tour and, at the same time, produce some songs and make a produced pop/dance album to be released in 2016. TBH I would be here for everything she releases just because my life is completely ****ed already, I'm so obsessed with Gaga that I could even listen to her farts on repeat. shaneybaby 450
I am someone who can love music of every genre if I like the lyrics and melody of the song. I believe she can make any type of music a hit because she just has that ear that knows what sounds good and what doesnt. Rock album with ballads would be totally amazing from her i think, but here for whatever. I could even do a country album if thats what she wanted. Bet she'd kill it
Daniel W 150
First of all, ARTPOP is her fourth album. Second of all, why do we have to b---h and whine and moan about what Lady Gaga is deciding to do with her career? I'm thrilled with the fact that my favorite artist has a discography so eclectic - records ranging from basic, electronic pop ("Just Dance,") to trap ("Aura,") hip-hop ("Jewels N' Drugs," "Cake Like Lady Gaga,") rock ("You and I") and a ****ing jazz collaboration with one of the greatest in all of music, Tony Bennett, collaborative performances with the Rolling Stones, Bruce Springsteen, Cher, Christina Aguilera, R. Kelly, she's performed for Queen Elizabeth, the band KISS loves her... I mean, people expect way too much of her. She has a catalog that people such as Miley Cyrus, Britney Spears, Katy Perry - even Madonna & Cher couldn't imagine coming close to - that's not shade, as I'm a fan of all, it's the God's honest truth. If Gaga wants to release jazz in 2014, an acoustic album in 2015 and then another pop album in 2016 or 2017 then so be it. It is her career, her discography, her ARTISTRY. As long as she continues to be passionate about her work and produces quality records, I'm here for whatever her future holds. Great post I agree with the fact that Lady Gaga has such an eclectic discography. The other person that I can think of is Mariah Carey, and I'm dead serious. Most of the other legends have only explored limited genres in their discography. That's what sets both Lady Gaga and Mariah Carey apart from most of the other typical pop stars  Therefore I'm not very worried of what she'll be doing. I just want good music from her. You know, by finding threads and subject matter on this forum that you could be more positive about? You aren't really practicing your English, if you are seeking out the same type of complaint threads to complain about the same things over and over. There is a Conversation thread, Entertainment thread and a World News thread were you could practice your English, without complaining about Gaga constantly. You should expand your subject matter...it would really help more with your overall English skills! :)
