Gene Simmons, is that you ?

It's far from dead by the way :)

the latest time for the rock thing was with grunge/Nirvana, since then rock is no more relevant

I guess she wants people to forget her cause she is gonna get with this

most people only remember gaga from 2008 to 2010 and the first part of 2011

with the mess that happened with ARTPOP she should release a enw album as soon as possible to fix her image, since it has been so damaged since 2011, I never thought it would be so frustrating to stan for a singer, mess

my life will go on but everytime I think of this it gives me a headache

I hope I get something in 2015  I love her Jazz music so it's not a problem for me. In fact, delaying pop releases will get me even more excited about her pop album. :flutter:

What's with the meltdowns? In the Howard Stern interview she didn't say her next album was going to be an acoustic album. She said she would like to make one. I took that to mean eventually she'll come out with one Not meaning the next one after Cheek to Cheek. And I don't think she needs to release an album in 2015 either. If she releases an album in the second quarter of 2016 it would be just as long of a break time compared to the releases of Born This Way to ARTPOP; about 30 months. Also, saying she never fit in pop music doesn't mean she's saying she is going to stop making pop music. Wasn't that her thing? "She's like a pop star but not. She's different." She's a musician. A true artist. And she'll experiment with her sound until she's dead. Why are her fans trying to keep her in a box.

Well it all depends what you consider relevant. I think most current pop music is the most irrelevant music being made right now so I guess we'll just agree to disagree

Of course she can discuss it :smh: I don't mind if she does pop, rock, metal, R&B, reggae or classical music, I just like clarity and I feel like she is currently hinting at a rock era but not really making it clear leaving a just curious portion of her fans in the dark who are confused by her anti-industry/label swings and her "My musical direction has changed" statements of the past few months.

I kinda like the ambiguity to be honest. I never know what Gaga is going to do and it's kinda fun.

She could release a new album in late 2015, and spend the next 9-10 months writing it and recording it. She's not gonna wait until 2017, even 2016 seems a stretch.

I don't think Gaga will make the pop music she has been making for a while.  When she talked about making C2C, it sounded like the pop music scene made her extremely unhappy.  I'd rather have her do what she wants.  Whenever she wants.  An acoustic album is perfect if she goes that route.  Which can also be pop...
