yeah like she's not gonna do anything like Heavy Metal Lover or ARTPOP or anything Kesha-esque.... but there's always going to be a LITTLE bit of autotune.

well if she's not gonna use autotune, maybe melodyne

Autotune in You and I. Honestly to god? Voice mastering and autotune are not the same thing.

Some people (actually, an overwhelming number) on this board are just overly dramatic all-knowing twats who jump on every single opportunity to criticize Gaga for anything she ever does. There's no Autotune on You and I. That's just ****ing dumb.

i'm not critizising it. It doesn't have to be exessive to be auto-tune. If you listen to the acapella, you hear it

Are you talking about the male voice singing with her? Mutt Lange? Yeah that's autotuned. Gaga's voice is not autotuned in You and I. It just isn't. Where is it? What lines specifically?

And Paula Abdul ain’t got [BLEEP] on me!

I thought she stopped auto tuning after The Fame?!!

Auto tune is not just when you hear that robot-like voice/what you think about when you think of T-Pain

Auto tune is also subtle pitch correcting and she has used it on every single studio song she has ever released EVER with the exception of Anything Goes.

I don't think this means that she won't be making Pop anymore, guys.  :toofunny:

I think it just means that even in her Pop stuff - she won't be adopting the use of auto-tune anymore. Like in Swine.. her vocals are like.. so altered they sound plastic/flat.

An acoustic album would be amazing!

"I cannot thank Troy Carter and Vincent enough for how they have supported me over the years. They believe in me so much. I will never leave Troy. I will never leave Vincent. Until my artistic death, I will be loyal to them because they are the truth of this industry."  :toofunny:

I wouldn't put too much faith in "never."

so true :gaga:

but lets face it, Gaga has never been very reliable with what she says. It has never been one of her strong suits!

She makes promisses or says she will do thigns that theres no way for her to know if it will really work out that way, and then she fails to do them :toofunny:

Where is Autotune used in SHICD? :udidnt:

And I'm sooooooooooo amped for a piano ballad album! :omgexcited: :omgexcited:

And I hope she uses some autotune in her pop albums though. It gives it a pleasent effect.

And where the **** is the atuotune in Gypsy if she sings it exactly the same live?

Eeeeehhhh eaaaaahhh sounds very robotic but I love it :flutter:

Ikr I don't hear it on Gypsy either

You're a ****ing moron. Seriously.

Um, no i'm not. Wow. Rude ass. I am 100% correct.

Thank you. Apparently i'm a f'ing moron for knowing the truth

People are acting like it is such a bad thing that she uses auto tune on every song. It's just so it is 100% perfect. Duh. I am NOT criticizing her for using auto tune or any form of pitch correction. It makes studio music better.

Auto tune, pitch correction, same thing basically.

Are you talking about the male voice singing with her? Mutt Lange? Yeah that's autotuned. Gaga's voice is not autotuned in You and I. It just isn't. Where is it? What lines specifically?

Yes it is. Deal with it. The entire song. You can hear it.

Many songs, you can't hear it, because of the reverb and delays. There are parts of songs where she doesn't use pitch correction, like in Hair the "Oh oh oh, oh oh oh" at the ends of the choruses. But the melodies and harmonies are always pitch corrected to ensure they are on point with each other.
