I highly doubt this will ever happen. Auto-Tune is standard industry practice. She never uses it in outragous quantities, and I would bet she will continue to use it the way she does.

"I cannot thank Troy Carter and Vincent enough for how they have supported me over the years. They believe in me so much. I will never leave Troy. I will never leave Vincent. Until my artistic death, I will be loyal to them because they are the truth of this industry."  :toofunny:

I wouldn't put too much faith in "never."

Auto-tune is fine as a tool to make a song sound a certain way, but when it's overdone it's bad. Imo Gaga uses it well

Interesting, didn't she also recently say she's doing a rock album?! Ah well, I'm here for anything she decides she needs to do, musically :)

I feel like people forget that pop music existed before auto-tune. Plus weren't there a bunch of fans complaining about Swinefest sounding better than ARTPOP last fall?

Also there's this quote from Neko Case:

I'm not a perfect note hitter either but I'm not going to cover it up with Auto-Tune. Everybody uses it, too. I once asked a studio guy in Toronto, 'How many people don't use Auto-Tune?' and he said, 'You and Nelly Furtado are the only two people who've never used it in here.' Even though I'm not into Nelly Furtado, it kind of made me respect her. It's cool that she has some integrity."

So..yeah. Using auto-tune doesn't equal "never making pop music or sounding good again." People here are more dramatic than Gaga herself. :fail:

I've wanted an album featuring just her and the piano since I first discovered her.  Her acoustic work is out of this world.

 this is a dream come true gaga+piano>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

This statement of hers sounds too PHONEY imo...It's like, her voice goes so well with autotune...I can't imagine living in a world where we don't get to hear her futuristic voice like in HML or even the ARTPOP bridge (!!!) SOMEONE HELP ME OMG...why is she s*itting on her own legacy?

It's like saying "music not the bling" was just a load of bulls* all this time...this kind of music I make is not selling so I'm going to switch genres to make more money...that's how I'm facing this little "rebellion" of hers.

I can't accept this. Now I kinda hope CTC flops bad so she can learn to be grateful for what she has #notevensorry

im sorry but what you wrote is completely bull**** sorry

she didn't said using autotune is bad :awkney: she said she wants to make it MORE  organic that's it

Some people forget that Gaga started out in a rock band called the Stefani Germanotta band and that she's never been shy about her rock influences. Pop/dance music made her famous, but I don't think she has to be a slave to it for life.

Apparently Just Dance was mega-pitch corrected but I don't even notice :emma: I'm pretty bad at picking up autotune unless there's an obvious distortion.

When she releases the stripped down album we will be so unprepared.

Sigh. Her voice. Her call. But there's nothing wrong with auto tune. Especially for the amount / purpose that Gaga uses it for.

Same thoughts. It's an industry standard.

Every mainstream artist I know uses autotune, but it's great if she wants to try to commit herself to this no-autotune thing.

Autotune do not have to be excessive (like in Paper Gangsta, etc) by the way.

Honestly y'all, Gypsy as being too auto-tuned? The only part I hear auto-tuned is the toniiiiiiiiiiiight part. Do you people even know what auto-tune is?

And Paula Abdul ain’t got [BLEEP] on me!

Where is there auto-tune in You and I?!

The entire song....Listen to the acapella

Not all auto-tune sounds like Heavy Metal Lover or Paper Gangsta. It can go unnoticed. Every song she has is auto-tuned. I promise. Besides Dope, no vocal correction was used in it.
