But at the same time you know churches generally speaking dont approve of the gay lifestyle... Why would u even want the service there to begin with? Everyone is entitled to their beliefs... And no one HAS to accept homos-xuality. They should be respectful, and not mistreat the LGBT like some extremists do... but they have the right not to embrace it if they believe otherwise And Churches are based on a faith. If it goes against their faith... Why should they HAVE to provide the service? A vegetarian may respect people who eat meat but perhaps some wouldnt want to serve it. These church people from what we read didnt seem to be bullying them in anyway or mistreating them, they merely said it would be blasphemous against their beliefs so they didnt want to provide the service :shrug: Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

As if solely in their beliefs. Think about it. The Christian bible lists TONS of things. And, there is no doubt, each and every one of them has committed a sin listed. Everyone is a sinner in the Christian point of view. Wheather it be a simple lie or more. The thing that the bible says is to repent and ask for forgiveness, accepting Jesus as their savior. Now, considering they were going to this church, they have. So if you wish to base it off of religious views, they should be allowed to have a funeral there. After all, they have done what their religion requires. To add, this preacher is not loving ones fellow man, refusing their funeral. In his beliefs, that is a sin. So the preacher shouldn't have a funeral, right? I am a Christian and have extensive knowledge of the religion. Your reasoning is flawed. And they did not "repent". Thats being sorry for what u did and wish u could take it back. But did they do that? No because they didnt believe it was wrong! I do get what ur saying tho.
