Now that the ARTPOP Era is probably over... (a thought)

This era really was the worst era i've seen of any popstar ever, i don't think she'l ever recover from this.

UGH PLEASE. :fail:

There has been MUCH WORSE eras by MANY pop stars... Some pop stars don't do 7 promo concerts in an era, do a ww tour, promote their singles (even promo ones), some singers don't spend millions on a single video at a castle, some singers don't perform at 3 awards shows in an era. So your statement is such an overexaggeration it's f--king crazy.

Besides... This era had a lot more than Britney Jean era for example.

She disappointed me with ARTPOP (I mean the WHOLE thing), I'm not even expecting anything more from her at this point.

It's her career, I don't care

I don't even wanna discuss about this messy era anymore.

So many mistakes, so many empty promises, a typical gaga era :reductive:

Have a look at JoJo's career, or Bionic by XTina (the tour got canceled and everything), ARTPOP wasn't perfect and Gaga knows that, but your statement is a bit harsh.

This is Lady Gaga we are talking about here, JoJo and Christina can't be compared as they have nothing on Gaga.

This era was just horrible, i tried for weeks to convince myself i liked the music but nope i just couldn't like it. Her other albums were so captivating and you could feel how much ****ing work Gaga put into them.

I listen to ARTPOP and it has no soul, it's empty, it feels like it was thrown together as a rushed project which is ridiculous considering how long she had. Her next album needs to be amazing or else she'll become the next Cyndi Lauper.

Lol ARTPOP has soul. Just because it doesn't resonate with you doesn't mean that others don't see it.

This whole thread is full of negativity. :smh: I only expressed my opinion on how Venus was very important for the Era. I didn't make this for you people to complain for the era or defend it.  :fail:

I wanted a return to the throne.

I needed the DWUW video.

Gypsy should have been a single.

Aura should have been the trilogy to Pap/Tel.

None of this happened. Gagz you hurt me

I mean...Back to Basics was sort of Christina's Born This Way.

Mind you I do like Bionic & ARTPOP.  I also like Cyndi Lauper. So...this is awkward.

That said, Gaga still has a lot going for her, esp. because of the Tony collab. She'll be fine.

So many b*tches in here, jfc. If you didn't like ARTPOP why are you spending so much time talking about it? Move the fck on, I'm tired of the constant sh*t talking.

I'm not really sure how Venus is important to the album. It's a good song but it's pretty nonsensical, whereas DWUW has lyrical depth and is largely about the critics which ended up being a big theme of this era, whether she originally intended that or not.

Venus is a pretty weightless song
