Brooke Hoegan 1,018
The one that was mysterious, serious and wouldn't talk her contemporaries or lovelife she was much more interesting and out of reach for basic b---hes, super-human now it's like... meh, she says and shows it all
MonsterRocket 55
Most of you just wait for an opportunity to bash ARTPOP, don't you? I started being interested in her personality after she took off the gimmicky costumes and the mysteries (having a penis wtf?) because, while many of you apparently fail miserably to understand, behind the ''curtain'' there is a very interesting person that's truly creative and talented. She's also passionate and very chaotic. She's Lady Freaking Gaga! And I really can't stand comments like ''she's got boring recently; all the mystery's gone'; I want the TF/TFM 2009-2010 Gaga; and so on... :excuseme: Sorry, babies but the gimmicks are over. And Born This Way AND ARTPOP cleared the scene for the insane genius that Gaga is! All of you nostalgic - go buy another copy of TFM and visit a circus or sth. The rest of us are here for some art innovation! I agree with you, but to an extent. After certain things (unreleased music videos, failed promises) is normal that some monsters feel disappointed. Also, some others may have preferred other attitude towards her career (personally, i would see her as the new Michael Jackson artistically some years ago). Anyway, i respect her, as that's her own personal and work choice. I do agree with you in the innovation issue as well. We don't need TFMGa again, we need a new Gaga, as she always gives us in fact. We cannot complain about that!

If you think that ARTPOP and BTW cleared the scene... Watch her very first interviews, her artistry has always been visible, she was always talking about artists, high fashion, poets, paintings, etc... OT : I prefer the mysterious girl

In the end we'll respect her choices no matter what (especially despite heated discussions here on GGD but that's an important part of this fanbase because all Monsters are very devoted ) The bold part is the truth and the most important thing about Gaga - always new, never stale & old trying to re-create previous success/effort. I know that and it's very true. What bugs me is that after BTW she wanted to shake off all the expectations (which were pretty high after such an album...). She released ARTPOP after having realized what she's been doing as anartist and just gave it a name - it's called ARTPOP. And the music in it is not artsy or anything like that (like tha name would sugggest, or people would expect) - it's just a party album that honours and celebrates her creativity/her realization. It's so simple yet genius. But here I can see people were really disappointed and failed to see this. And this is why I rant quite often here about ARTPOP that it is no less artistic than her previous works and I just don't want it to be seen as inferior simply because it isn't (I might start a war with this comment - like be entitled to your wrong opinion, its just your opinion, its not a fact etc., but truth be told I'm confident I have a good argument to defend ARTPOP because I've put a lot of thought into it, whereas the bashing is based many times on lame excuses and laziness... ) Peace! :shy:

Well, it was exactly my point ;) Art is art, people shouldn't try to make an album more artistic than another one. Even if someone dislikes ARTPOP (which is my case), this person should be able the see the artistic side of this era/album. Oh and I agree with you on the bold part. It's her most honest and personal album, and it's totally understandable that she wanted to release something more "carefree" after all the things she had to go through. high heeled fem 3
I prefer the Gaga that's extroverted, cries all the time, lets fans sing and dance on stage, talks to fans in chatrooms, gives inspirationaal speeches and still loves tbe pop star life. djBuffoon 12,119
She is more attractive to me now. The mystery didn't do much for my taste because the music was mostly superficial and didn't support the persona. The last two albums, I feel, have matched her soul the most accurately.
