I think you're confusing two instances. Gaga said that ARTPOP, even though it is mostly a dance and fun, actually came from a dark place. She said it during the Applause era (during some radio interviews?). The immature comment comes from one show from the Born This Way Ball Tour. Only Speechless is dark really so... Does ARTPOP influence you? Does it make you more brave, stronger, etc.? No. Gaga has said it herself.
