Born This Way had huge hype which helped a lot. I assume her next album will be far more modest. She will keep it a bit more low key. And without the extra Amazon sales, I'm gonna say 550,000-700,000. Which is still amazing. Some how I think her next album will be a complete work of art because she now knows the music that sells the best for her (TF & TFM)a nd has also had a chance to experiment and grow lots as an artist through the BTW era. She can then combine her chart smashing ability with her maturity as an artist in her new record.

It really depends on the quality of the initial single this time. Born This Way was souped up from monthssss beforehand but many people will not fall for the hype this time, especially since there was a huge backlash when BTW (song) came out with Madonna comparisons, different sound, etc. It was hated and hated.

She really needs to re-invent herself next album, not necessarily go back to the Fame, but something of that sort.

Gaga might even do a Ying and Yang again with the new EP/Album -- Born This Way was very dark, but honest. Perhaps her "Yang" should be more lively and more commercial ;)
