Dunk96 2,526
After her hip injury, she really had a lot of down time and was out of the spotlight for a while. TBH people kinda forgot, she really wasnt getting any publicity but performing in space will do the trick and it will be the return of the Imperial Phase part 2!! :ARTPOP:
Noah Fatale 72
shes not mainstream anymore and people got bored of her and her weirdness, its that simple. no t no shade but like most people dont care about her anymore (dont get upset, im just expressing what i think) i feel bad for monsters who convince themselves otherwise. its mostly teens that are over gaga, the older audiences still seem to like her though. she should be just as popular as tfm though bc she's obviously the most talented artist of our generation. but most truly talented people dont get appreciated until after they pass away.. :trootea:

itsdominik 16,742
She didn't in my opinion! She simply tried new things and experimented and not everything she did eas well received by everyone. If Gaga and Interscope play their cards well after the space performance, she could get back on top everywhere. For me she still is, because I don't love Gaga because of sales, but because of her
Jaqe 37
To me, she has stopped being cohesive. Many things she said contradict with one another, not to mention overhyping stuff and not delivering. Another example is ARTPOP which is plainly boring to me now and I still have no idea what it is about. Plain presentation, lack of cohesiveness in her work and image is what made me realize I am not really into her work like I was 2 years ago.
drinkmytears 2,332
1) She was too present in media during the Born This Way promotional campaign and people saw too much of her. 2) She sold so many tickets on the Monsterball, albums with The Fame, singles with The Fame/Monster, won so many awards, made so many great achievements that it was almost impossible to top that again so soon. 3) Judas was a bad single choice. The Edge of Glory wasn't released properly. 4) She waited way too long to start the Born This Way Ball. People thought she was taking a break but in reality she was just getting ready to tour. She should've toured America sooner, and also toured less with TMB. 5) The 2011 VMA performance was maybe "too weird," Marry The Night was a bad single choice. 6) She gained a lot of weight. She started smoking. She wore fur and made a lot of statements she shouldn't. She got too weird/controversial for most people. 7) For someone who put out so many albums and singles it was weird for her to be so MIA. Other people took advantage of that. The other stars stopped emulating her and got more "normal" so being "normal" became cool again. 8) ARTPOP took way too long and it was so overhyped 9) Madonna made so many haters and trolls hate Gaga even more. Katy and Rihanna got bigger during this time period too. 10) Her fans are a big turn off 11) Her hip injury 12) Applause wasn't seen as a strong comeback, so many other songs were huge and Miley was taking the media throne. Roar performed better too. 13) Why wasn't Do What U Want the second single to begin with? 14) She collabed with pedophiles 15) ARTPOP just didn't do it for most people 16) Another media blackout December-March
Wet Fire 7,495
1. Overexposure 2. She started as a fun pop act. Then she got into serious themes and issues. Do you know that the GP doesn't care much about theories like ARTPOP.
Pitch 204
She went from the quirky weird girl with catchy songs to the too serious, crazy girl with unrelatable songs LADY GAGA/madonna/katy perry/little mix/ariana grande/selena gomez/britney spears/taylor swift
Benji 20,113
She made an album catered towards the gays then tried to win her old fans back with an average album. An album which quite a few of her long term fans didn't like, the only ones it went down really well for are those who got into her during BTW who are pretty young and now think she can do no wrong. There's a lot more reasons but that's probably the biggest one.
RainingOnMe 7,280
Honestly, I feel like the lack of promo and lack of interest Gaga had about her career back in October 2013 is the reason for her decline. It all started with that very awkward DWUW performance she did with R Kelly on Saturday Night Live, and then the whole "Venus or DWUW" single issue came to place. She shouldn't have changed the single, because Venus could have went #1. Then even more decline when the music video issue happened. She couldn't release it because she was afraid for the public to see her with what the GP labeled a "rapist" and a "child molester" in a music video basically about intercourse. People saw she was falling and more and more people stopped caring. And now, here we are.
Ronk 14,762
I don't love Gaga because of sales, but because of her MTE. I live outside the space time continuum.

Ronk 14,762
10) Her fans are a big turn off This is a much bigger factor than fans want to admit. The negative actions of fans give Gaga a black eye and are a reason many of the GP dislike Gaga. Imagine Gaga's popularity if her fans were respectful of other artists. Gaga leads the way with her kindness, but fans don't follow. I live outside the space time continuum.

I think we all can see that Gaga has been on the decline since 2011 when Marry The Night failed to chart as well as her past singles. And that DWUW performance was a few weeks after the Venus/DWUW mess, DWUW was clearly the 2nd single by then!
