  1. 1. Favorite Album From Bjork?

When I first heard her music, or art I should say, I was so annoyed by it in general. And now I can't stop listening to those songs. They're so beautiful.

Out of curiosity, is moon about rebirth? Just by looking at her using the Harp across her stomach then holding that crystallised object, I somehow linked it with rebirth. And especially as the instrumental times perfectly with the visuals as if your destiny is timed and everything. Either that or I'm over-a--lysing things.

I agree. Ancestors is her most experimetnal song. It creeped me out the first time I heard it.

Vespertine is still my favorite work by her. I love every single track.

Amen. It´s such a perfect work of art :legend:

Really experimental! What do you think is Bjork's most experimental song?

Anything on Medúlla I think. Triumph of a Heart or Ancestors (as someone mentioned). Such a task to get through it, but it's so beautiful once it's clicked.

The best winter album I've ever heard. How wonderful are Undo, It's Not Up to You and Pagan Poetry? :legend:

Triumph of a Heart is such an amazing song, but it never fit Medula IMO  Well, it's a perfect closer, but just seems so out of the place...

It's so upbeat. I think it's unexpected in a good way, but if it were less busy it could've fit better.

Yeah, that's the thing. It's so upbeat, but I still always love when I get to it while listening to the album cause I always forget about it.

I still need to listen to Medula and Volta.

Medula is incredible. Probably her most unusual album, but I just love to relax and listen to it. Which is kinda funny, cause that album is anything but relaxing. But I always found Björk's voice so calming, so that's probably it.

Volta's biggest problem is that it's so inconsistent with it's sound. It just sounds messy as a whole, but the songs are great.

Besides 'Dull Flames of Desire'. Sorry, but sometimes it's so hard for me to get through that song. It just goes on and on and on...

You should really listen to both of them :)

I totally agree that Bjork's voice is calming and beautiful, I try to listen to Bjork sometimes when going to bed and my boyfriend will get mad at me because he thinks her voice is nice but shrill and not calming in the slightest...hmm. :ohwell:

Dull Flame of Desire is one of my favourites on Volta, Antony and Bjork NEVER fail me, they always sound so amazing together. :flutter:

I've been listening to Joga a lot lately. Probably my favorite track off of Homogenic.

In a way, yes. It's about creating a new cycle after failing at something.

Same. First time I heard it, I was like . Now I just view it as a work of art.
