If you or anyone feel weirded out by her gay fans, I suppose there are problems within you, and themselves, and not on anyone else. Maybe you and them are a little homophobic inside without you know it. Plus, there are almost no gay stuffs going on in this ARTPOP era anyway. Not this year. And I am not 'weirded out by any one who is gay', that's a pathetic insinuation. I'm actually currently debating my own s-xuality, and this was an innocent thread that has become nasty because of more fans who only talk about gays and gay rights, which I am a strong believer in anyway. Being a Gaga fan doesn't mean that you are gay anyway. Secondly, I think it's great how she advocates for gay rights. I would do the same if I was a famous person. HOWEVER I feel that her constant preaching (particularly during the BTW era) was what put off a lot of straight fans because they may have felt that they were considered by many people as being gay because they are Gaga fans. (And again I will reiterate that I am only really talking about MEN as being 'girly' or liking female singers is a stereotype of gay men that is not always true). Well I would say that she has more gay fans in her fanbase (notably male gay fans) because of how much of an accepting and loving human being she is. And that's wonderful. But because she spends so much time obsessing over her message of tolerance over acceptance of the the gay community, she sometimes forgets her straight fans. GGD is not as bad as it's controlled, but many pop forums gays treat more as a gay hookup club than a general pop forum for everybody. So yeah, unless you are very comfortable with yourself as a straight male and can tolerate gays treating everyone else like a gay man than a pop forum is not a place that many straight males will hang out much. The only thing that bugs me is when someone throws a a feminine term at me as a derogative... sis, or "hunty" or "girl", not only because I am none of those things, but also because gay men don't realize how often their own speech and shade techniques denigrate and belittle women. Honestly I think she and the fanbase are relatively welcoming so I've never felt isolated for being a straight guy.
