Ambrosia 3,775
We have to trust that health care officials know what they are doing. My heart goes out to everyone infected with this horrible disease. If it were me, I'd want the best health care possible too and not left in a foreign country. Do not do to others what angers you if done to you by others. -Socrates
Logan 20,827
I read a nice article about this and it's really not that big of a deal. The only reason this virus is a thing is because of where it started. They don't have the medical support that we do.

Essence 244
Some people are acting ridiculous about this. It's not like this guy is going to walk around the city infecting everyone. He's going to be in a very controlled environment. I don't think the CDC want's ebola to spread here. If that were you, you'd want to be treated here too. xKorix 156
Ebola isn't actually that efficient at spreading. It requires close close contact like you have to be exposed to the fluids/saliva of an infected individual to get it.

Well yeah everything starts somewhere but the thing is, symptoms can not show for weeks, which gives time for people to travel and have contact with many others. That means it can easily spread. So it is a big deal :spin: hop on that **** like a maniac

Morphine Prince 109,683
Where did you read you have to exposed to fluids? I've never seen that ever. Yeah, Ebola is spread by direct contact with bodily fluids from the infected individual. It's not an airborne disease.

Unless the infected victim, who is currently on his way to a secure and quarantined location, gets up and spits in your mouth, I think you'll be fine. Bye 3,947
Where did you read you have to exposed to fluids? I've never seen that ever. Ebola infects through body fluids even something like sweat. It cannot be spread through the air.
