AyaKara 2,282
I don't know why I come to this thread looking for hope. I got excited when I saw your name as you are highly intelligent with a strong, sound mind. But.... if you are horrified... then, I'm scared-****less. I know logically that we're very safe. We're so better off it's ridiculous. The mode of transmission is fluids, so just don't share food/ s-xual activity/ etc. We also have so much more technology and treatment options than they do in West Africa. But I'm just nervous because my dad is involved indirectly
Bear 7,515
OMG! Me too! If it goes viral, I will have a huge burden on my soul. Same, It is a burden we will have to share Everyone died except a few thousand in Greenland so let's all move there

capso 0
Girl the government can send them help.. But just not bring them here.. They don't have proper ways to keep clean and sanitize, it's not that easy. They need technology that we have here

But I'm just nervous because my dad is involved indirectly I know you are 100% right and I've read articles to educate myself even more. Everything will be fine. I understand about how you feel about your father and I guess just know that the health care professionals know what they are doing. Let's hope this all passes soon and bless those who are suffering - my heart goes out to them. Do not do to others what angers you if done to you by others. -Socrates

MahoganySnitch 67
Some of these posts... They aren't treating the patient in the middle of Central Park. There's quarantine procedures that will be followed. And if you're scared of catching this, remember that you take that risk every time you step out of your home and mingle among the GP, made up with people whose medical history are entirely unknown to you. Just saying.

Tommymonster44 0
Here's an idea, how about 19 year old lady gaga fans stop telling experts the best way to do their jobs. The people handling this outbreak have decades of education and experience. This is true, but even then why don't they send them to some kind of special hospital or something in a smaller town instead of the largest f*cking city in the country where things like this can spread like wildfire I think since this is becoming such a problem they need to quickly make plans to build a special hospital for this and other viruses/ diseases on a deserted island where it's near impossible for these kinds of things to spread I would imagine that large metropolitan areas have the top hospitals, infrastructure, and doctors to treat the patients. Some random North Dakota town isn't as equipped to handle the case as New York and Atlanta.

So I don't think this guy has been sneezing everywhere or spreading his blood around. I live close to the hospital and I'm not worried at all.
