TEANUS 16,142
Stop fear mongering. High fever and GI problems can be from anything. The sanitation here is miles better than in Africa, so things like ebola don't spread nearly as easily. This isn't as big of a concern as the people in this thread is making it out to be. So they don't die. They don't have the ability to treat ebola correctly in Africa, that's why it's such a problem. Think of it this way: if it were you or a family member who had it, wouldn't you want them to have the best care possible? This is true, but even then why don't they send them to some kind of special hospital or something in a smaller town instead of the largest f*cking city in the country where things like this can spread like wildfire I think since this is becoming such a problem they need to quickly make plans to build a special hospital for this and other viruses/ diseases on a deserted island where it's near impossible for these kinds of things to spread British social ladies with upturned pinkies, glasses clinking // xoxoTEANUS

And they send them to hospitals that are well equipped enough to deal with this. I doubt a smaller hospital would have adequate quarantine methods :(

If he actually has ebola he needs to be treated right away. Hospitals are safe environments. Do you honestly think they don't take precautions so that things don't spread? Ebola isn't the first or most infectious disease found in the USA, and there's a reason we haven't had a major epidemic. The reason ebola is a problem in Africa is because they aren't able to properly treat it. They can do that here.
