Her entire career is dictated by a bunch of men and women in suits. And she can't even speak confidently in any interviews about her "✌ï¸Artistic vision✌ï¸" without having her ghost writer TI right beside her. People second guess with gaga, most people think Iggy is smokin off the bat... But I can see the career similarities. She's becoming a household name literally over night, which is exactly what gaga did, but I think the road has been alot harder for her, i.e she had like 4-5 flop singles before she got her big hit... Whereas I feel as tho iggy cakes on the makeup primarily to make herself appear s-xier and more of a s-x-symbol and to attract more half-witted horny straight guys and basic gays. And gaga obviously doesn't rely on s-x appeal...cause we all saw her cosmetic work during BTW.... Without the s-x appeal, and makeup, Gaga's work in The Fame would still stand on it's own as revolutionary game changing pop music. Not saying she didn't utilitize s-x appeal in love game and other aspects, but in comparison iggy's s-x appeal (from a professionally enhanced face I should add) is one of the biggest initial attractions to her. And without that...do you honestly believe she would actually be where she is right now...do u really think anyone would have had time for her had she came into the scene looking like she does in that makeup free pic. Her music isn't that revolutionary. We've had plenty of female rappers on the scene that have done crazier and more boundary pushing music than her....it's cause she's white, made to look pretty, has T.I. Ghost writing decent lyrics for her, and has a stylist that picks out nice clothes for her. She may be a pretty girl regardless (not calling her ugly) but she definitely doesnt have the "look" of a "traditionally s-xy star" without professional work. So to say she's "traditionally" more s-xy than gaga is like saying a woman who goes on extreme makeover is "s-xier" than gaga after having a bunch of work, style and makeup enhancement done. It all depends on what you do with your looks, how u choose to present yourself etc. Gaga obviously isnt as interested with appearing traditionally beautiful/attractive so people generally dont perceive her that way. And just as a general sidenote, think its unfair to put down an artist just because they like to look pretty or dress s-xy etc. Maybe that's just their personal style in the same way that gaga likes to dress theatrical/out there. If everyone was as theatrical and androgynous with their look like gaga, then she wouldnt really stand out would she?. Its easy to judge new artists when they seemingly come out of nowhere and only have a few songs on the radio to judge them by but I think its better to take a step back and actually get to know the artist before judging them (gaga was also a victim of this in the beggning where heaps of people thought and still think she is some vapid, talentless autotune mess). I followed Iggy's career from when she was still largely underground and from the interviews i've seen she seems like a very smart and lovely girl who is definitely in control of her career, so i'll atleast respect that. I would very much prefer success (no matter how crappy their music is) to a genuine down to earth person with a good head on their shoulders than some straight up unappreciative asshole like Justin Bieber...
