VforVendetta 2,024 Posted July 22, 2014 Author Share Posted July 22, 2014 the edge of glory isn't even close to being my fav though, here in the uk EVERYONE knows it and it still gets covered on the biggest talent shows in the country every single year, unfortunately i can't say the same for any of the others UK is only one country of the world. 'Telephone' and 'Alejandro' were definitely a lot big in my country, even more than 'Born This Way', especially 'Alejandro' was a huge summer hit. Both songs were huge but I think that BR tops it when it comes to iconicness. Inside the fanbase it's defiantly the favorite, but radio doesn't play it anymore. Like I said: ask people to name Gaga songs and I'm 100% sure more people will mention Poker Face than Bad Romance. Meß at Just Dance in category 2. Poker Face basically hitted #1 in every single country tho, in most countries it also turned out to be the best selling song of the year. At this moment Poker Face is still in the Itunes top in 4 countries, while Bad Romance isn't in any. And awards don't really make a song. Bad Romance doesn't really have iconic moments attached to it, it's not like anyone knows the meat dress was to accept an award for Bad Romance. If Roar hadn't been released the same week as Applause I think it would've been much bigger) Level 2: -Paparazzi -Alejandro -The Edge of Glory -You and I (It may not have peaked that high but most people know who sang that song, even if they don't like it) -Do What U Want (This song deserved SO much better than what it got, it was one of those songs that seemed huge but wasn't as big as it should've been, if it had a video easy top 5 single) Level 3: -LoveGame -Judas Level 4: -Marry The Night -G.U.Y.
