They appreciate that she can sing and that she writes her own material. My friends are nuts for her. And, most importantly, my dad loves her, which means a lot to me because he's been a working musician for a very long time and he knows his shït like you wouldn't believe. However my little 6-year old niece stans HARD though - it was surreal to see DWUW on her ipad amongst the Frozen soundtrack (I don't think she knows G.U.Y. exists though, much like the rest of the world). My mom really doesn't like her though and actually prefers Katy Perry. She think Gaga "looks dirty." I informed her that her fave Tony is collaborating with her and she seemed surprised. And my family doesn't listen to music, so they aren't familiar with Gaga apart from Poker Face and Bad Romance I'm actually surprised by it! A dad liking ARTPOP? THAT'S AMAZING. lol. Especially my dad finds her pretty fascinating and entertaining. I remember watching Jo Calderone at the VMA's and he was really impressed. Then my mom came in so he rewinded and kept asking her: Do you know who that is? (She didn't have a clue, thinking it was some dude) my dad was laughing his ass off. Joe kinda reminds me of my dad actually. Mr G is a bit more badass, but I think they would click very well. I played Honest eyes once and he commented he loved the voice, not knowing it was her. They never said anything negative about me stanning for her, probably cause I was blessed to have many amazing moments with her that they love to tell people about. My sister doesn't buy all her music, but she did go to the BTWball with a friend and wants to go to Artrave, just because she loves Gaga as a liveperformer. My dad on the other hand really dislikes her. All because she flipped the bird at the Yankees game and was on the jumbo screen in front of a bunch of children. I have tried explaining so many times how great of a person she is for today's youth but he won't listen. He walked out of the room when she was performing at the 2013 VMAs. At least she loves Lana. My other older sister thinks Gaga is annoying. My mom doesn't really overly like Gaga, she is kind of indifferent I would say.
