Kermit the frog 1,921
It's somehow strange that stans treat it like a proper mainstream release, it's just a side project. They're not gonna "slay" with the "promo"
Joey1 0
You're forgetting that the interviewer said that piece would be released in September when the album is due. ;) She'll be in New York on Monday for a different taping - maybe the today show will film something from there or she'll stay in NYC for Tuesday and be in the studio. the september piece was not the today show, it was another one that I cannot remember right now....and how do you know she'll be in NY on monday? Wet Fire 7,867
Gaga's always been amazing at Jazz. The Jazz versions of Poker Face and You and I are incredible. The Lady Is a Tramp captures one of Gaga's beat vocal performances ever. I'm sure Cheek to Cheek will be a treasure chest of epic vocals by Gaga! Btw, I just CANNOT wait for the studio version of I've Got a Crush on You!

ELECTRAHEARTPOP 93
Not expecting huge sales, but expecting that critical acclaim. This. Cheek to Cheek is less about first week sales and more about repairing her image and brand, as well as showing everyone how incredible her voice is. Tropico 4,145
However I'm qui surprised to see that she seems more concerned by CtC promo than she was by ARTPOP promo ! I hope it's going to pay ! BULLSHIT. Gaga did 7 promo concerts for ARTPOP alone. That's more than Cheek 2 Cheek has and will get. You guys are f--king blowing the ARTPOP promo out of proportion. ♢ Social Justice Enthusiast ♢

Slojo 51
An artical about Marion Evans who is the Arranger for Cheek To Cheek. --- Talks about Gaga --- The guy is a bit of a legend in the music business http://www.phillyburbs.com/entertainment/local_entertainment/music/the-man-behind-the-music/article_9f6c30bc-923d-5b16-bd5a-66b70cb6b902.html The veteran music arranger and composer arranged five songs on Bennett’s platinum-selling, Grammy-winning 2011 album “Duets II,†including “The Lady Is a Tramp†with Lady Gaga. The first song on the disc was the last to be recorded, coming after lengthy contractual wrangling and only a few days before the cutoff date for the album’s completion, prompting Bennett’s urgent, middle-of-the-night phone call. Evans worked on the arrangement through the night and into the next day, a band was booked to record the music and, soon after, Lady Gaga arrived to lay down her vocal track. “I couldn’t figure out how she would do a song like this,†Evans recalls. “But she’s a fabulous musician. She walks right in, picks up the music, hears the track one time and the next time, that’s it. One take. She was fantastic.†
