Personally, if she goes back to making pop music, I'd really like her to work with Fernando Garibay (love his edgy pop sound, and PARTYNAUSEOUS sounds brilliant), Rodney Jerkins (Telephone is a fave), and have DJWS/DJ Snake collaborate again (Government HookerDo What U Want and Sexxx Dreams are all amazing tracks).

I like Gaga's tracks with RedOne, but it would feel so regressive to me now. She's proved she can create hits without him.

She's proven the opposite.

all with RedOne credit. Her work with him is THE Gaga sound. Even Venus is clearly inspired by her work with him.

People are quick to doubt him but then jizz all over his Gaga tracks and have them on a pedestal. Can't have it both ways.

Agreed. Her best songs, even some EDM songs like Paparazzi, were originally written acoustically on the piano. Gaga is one of the few singers that can also play an instrument and she should really take advantage of that. I think that's part of why ARTPOP was underwhelming - she was clearly writing songs to instrumental tracks that producers had already made, so it didn't have that characteristic Gaga feel.

hold on, now paparazzi is not EDM at all

I really don't understand people's dislike of RedOne. He has given us Gaga's biggest hits, including two of the biggest songs of the 21st century (Poker Face and Bad Romance). He was a big part in why she was such a huge success.

I love judas SO MUCH but I canʹt look like a copycat of JLO!!!!

I'd like an album which gives Aura vibes, not too experimental because after ARTPOP there would be no place for a full experimental album and also not too Katy Perry pop. Maybe a mixture of those both.

Ugh I'm so conflicted about this. Yes, I want Gaga to be super successful again, but I also love when she makes/does things because SHE likes them and doesn't care about if it's successful or not you feel me? I guess I'd like to see The Fame meets The Fame Monster: perfectly produced for success (killer hooks) but fashion and concepts to make you think. I know that's an extremely basic, watered down description but ahhh I don't know what I want! Guess I'll just take what I can get

*I'll always be a sucker for the decay of the superstar though. I've been obsessed with that even before Gaga was a thing so seeing an artist explore it publicly was so interesting and inspiring to me. She's probably about used all of the fame/decay shock factor up already though. Oh well, we still got Princess Die  :legend:

I badly want that one too. I want Gaga to explore more about death, money (not like in TF), violence and decay. I want a photoshoot that looks sterile, something like black and silver colored. And for the love of God, I hope gaga ditches that winged eyeliner. her make ups from the ARTPOP era (excep for those gorgeous versace looks and applause-venus) were pretty uninspiring. It's always winged eyeliner, bold lipstick and a very obvious contour.
