While listening to ARTPOP I can't hear gaga on it. It's not gaga. Maybe Gypsy, Aura and Venus but not the rest. The instrumentals sounds better without the vocals tbh. The lyrics were good, the instrumentals were great but they did not create something that screams gaga. It's like they plastered Gaga's vocals upon edm tracks which isn't good for me tbh.

I believe gaga should accept her own limitations and improve upon them - with the help of others. She shouldn't settle for what she already achieved and create something bigger. I hate it when she said that she already has a number 1 single so she doesn't need to prove nothing. She excels when she is challenged. I feel like when she was creating ARTPOP she has words on everything. Nobody's trying to go against her (In her team, not the label), everybody say yes to everything she does... and when they say something negative, she shuts them off her life.

It's not bad to create something that you like, but it's better to create something that everyone will like and even something that will inspire them. Gaga wants to inspire us with ARTPOP, but along the way she seems to forgot that it's not just monsters listening to her, it's the whole world. In order to inspire the world you need to create something that will not turn them-off something that they want to go inside them. I'm not saying that she should create something generic, but something that is very accessible and has impact. Something that is magical will last forever.

:applause: And that's why I think we could get a real masterpiece from her with the next album, she's back in the underdog position and she has everything to prove again. She knows this type of music won't get her anywhere at this point ("Cheek to Cheek is the end of the beginning of my career").

I love it when she's the underdog. When somebody's contradicting her. Saying that she can't. When she has to prove her worth like the TF+M days.

TBH I'm not fond of her ego nowadays. I guess the next album will be the real test. Had she delivered (to the gp) with ARTPOP, her legend status would've been cemented, no matter how the next one will perform. She lost her grip with ARTPOP.

I prefer that she does something completely different than she's done before. Gagas legacy will be constant reinvention not selling out for cheap hits.

Personally, if she goes back to making pop music, I'd really like her to work with Fernando Garibay (love his edgy pop sound, and PARTYNAUSEOUS sounds brilliant), Rodney Jerkins (Telephone is a fave), and have DJWS/DJ Snake collaborate again (Government HookerDo What U Want and Sexxx Dreams are all amazing tracks).

I like Gaga's tracks with RedOne, but it would feel so regressive to me now. She's proved she can create hits without him.

Gagadonna

I'd liker her to do more songs as The Edge of Glory, Fashion! and Do What U Want.

The chorus is awful (similar problem happened with MTN) but the build, the verses, the epic happiness... it's brilliant other than the lazy chorus of "Toniiiiiiiiiiiiight".

Gypsy is perfection and you shall deal.

I would love to hear some dirty Dance with the dead beats. I think they could make something special and amazing together. They would slay all the basic b*tches. Gaga+DWTD = HITS

Apparently "Little downers" is REALLY REALLY OFFENSIVE! Get a grip, moderator that gave me a warning a downer is a person that puts a downer on things. You know, like a "Debbie downer" it's got nothing to do with downs syndrome, which I suspect your warped little mind crept to.

DOWNER DOWNER DOWNER

Warn me, mother****er.

down·er (dounr)

n. Slang

1. A depressant or sedative d--g, such as a barbiturate or tranquilizer.

2.

There you go, you power-mad child.

This clearly says more about you than it does about me. You immediately jump to 'omg it's so offensive" when it isn't because your mind goes there. You're offensive.

Mess. Is this in the wrong thread? :awkney:

PopBitch

An 11 to 12 song album, no more than one collaboration, tight and cohesive and melodic. The rest surprise me. I would prefer a surprise producer who is a musician and strong, not a yes man but a true collaborator and who gets Gaga, and not one that everyone is working with.
