Okay then...the Gaga stans, who don't like Madonna's new album, should ALL sign up so they can post negative comments everyday for a year then! Let's see how well that goes! I can't wait to see those Madonna stans welcoming Gaga stans and their daily negativity with open arms!! :roll: In fact, think I will take a trip to MadonnaNation and see how nice they are to Gaga over there and how they take to people coming in and criticizing Madonna. Wonder what I would find? However, it's impossible to diminish the impact of Madonna's legacy. She's the highest selling female recording artist of all time (300 million records) and the most successful solo artist in the history of the Billboard charts (over 38 top ten Hot 100 hits). People naturally come to see Madonna because she has been so famous for so long and has a massive back catalog, as well as popular new music. Gaga has been phenomenally successful on her own and may well go to that level, but she doesn't have a 30 year career under her belt yet. Madonna is Madonna, and the rest is just the rest If gaga is so big that she can "give" some relevance to Madonna; then I assume she sould be doing bigger numbers than her too; but MDNA tour was bigger than BTWB in both total gross and attendance. If for you "public interest" is to be on ggd or atrl, then she doesn't need that ^^ And again, why would she need gaga when she had a whole performance on the superbowl? All publicity was necessary. She didn't NEED the scandal but it certainly helped. And let's not forget the BTWB was canceled.
