Edu 3,961
Lohan's debut studio album, Speak (2004), was certified platinum. Her second album, A Little More Personal (Raw) (2005), was certified gold. SPEAK: Speak is the debut studio album by American recording artist and actress Lindsay Lohan. It was released in the United States on December 7, 2004 by Casablanca Records. The album was the first high-seller from Casablanca Records in several years, selling 1,000,000 units in the United States. The album received mostly mixed reviews, with critics commenting that Lohan "isn't a bad singer, but not an extraordinary singer either."[1] In the United States the album peaked at number four on the Billboard 200, selling 261,762 copies in its first week.[2] In Germany the album debuted at the #53 position and took four weeks to complete its chart run. The first two singles from Speak, "Rumors" and "Over", were both successes, with "Over" topping the Bubbling Under Hot 100 Singles where it stayed for three weeks. The song also did well internationally in countries such as Australia, Ireland, and the United Kingdom. "Rumors" peaked at #6 on the Bubbling Under Hot 100 Singles chart and also did well in Australia and Germany, where it reached #14. The music video for "Rumors" was nominated for "Best Pop Video" at the 2005 MTV Video Music Awards. Both songs received heavy airplay on MTV's Total Request Live. The final single, "First", was released to help promote Lohan's film, Herbie: Fully Loaded. The song earned small success in Australia and Germany. Lohan promoted the album by performing the songs in a number of live appearances. Plans for a tour in Taiwan were planned, but were later scrapped. A LITTLE MORE PERSONAL (RAW) A Little More Personal (Raw) is the second studio album by American recording artist Lindsay Lohan, released on December 6, 2005 by Casablanca Records. Initially titled There's Only One Angel In Heaven, the album, produced by Kara DioGuardi, Greg Wells, Ben Moody and Butch Walker, features a darker theme when compared to Lohan's previous album, Speak (2004). Recording sessions took place in several locations, including at Lohan's trailer during the shoot of Herbie: Fully Loaded, where she recorded the first and only single of the album, "Confessions of a Broken Heart (Daughter to Father)". A Little More Personal (Raw) received mixed reviews from music critics, who praised Lohan's ambition, despite considering it a weak album. The album failed to enter on major charts, only peaking at number twenty in United States' Billboard 200 and at the same position on Digital Albums. However, A Little More Personal (Raw) was certified Gold in Taiwan; after receiving the news, Lohan stated that she would promote the album touring the country. In the United States, it was also certified Gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). Lohan promoted the album in a few television appearances, including at MTV's Total Request Live, The Ellen DeGeneres Show and the 2005 American Music Awards. SPIRIT IN THE DARK The 3rd album from Lindsay still unrealesed (similar with Nicole's debut album), which some demos leaked online showing a new side from her. A song by American recording artist Lindsay Lohan. The song was written by Shaffer Smith, known by his stage name Ne-Yo, while additional writing and song production was done by Stargate members Mikkel Storleer Eriksen and Tor Erik Hermansen. After leaking online in the beginning of May 2008, Universal Motown officially released the song to media outlets, while its digital single was released on May 27, 2008. The song draws musical influence from the electropop and dance-pop genres; it is about a woman being strong enough to get what she wants when she wants it. "Bossy" attained generally mixed critical reception upon release. Critics generally praised the attitude of the song, but considered the song less catchy than Lohan's previous efforts. "Bossy" managed to peak at number 77 on the Canadian Hot 100, and became Lohan's first song from her entire career to reach number one on the United States' Billboard Hot Dance Club Play. 🌹 free britney 🌹
