Scheisse wouldn't have done well tbh. It is no different than G.U.Y. fans say it would of "Slayed" but in reality the GP wouldn't care for it and it wouldn't be played on radio.

Probably on Grindr

I still have a bit of hope for gypsy

Me too.

I live outside the space time continuum.

I honestly think it would have flopped even though it's a flawless song.

This sadly.

Gypsy 4th single isn't confirmed (i think  )

She has C2C, so, I think ARTPOP is already over.

i dont think that she has like some big plans with c2c cuz she will be on tou

I've got an "F" and a "C" and I got a "K" too And the only thing that is missing is a bitch like "U"

Thank you. Stans, by nature, have a difficult time distinguishing between great songs and great singles. Just because you love something doesn't mean everyone else will. Scheisse is a great song, but it would've been a terrible choice for a single.

Probably some of the following reasons:

1. The title is a German swear word. That means that, in select markets, the song would have to be heavily altered/censored/not released at all

2. Half of the song is in a language that doesn't exist, and Interscope probably wanted something more singable, like Yuyi or Edge.

3. The song is a feminist anthem, so it would potentially alienate an entire gender. It would have trouble attracting a male demographic.

Personally, I don't know why the song gets so much love. It's one of my least favorites on BTW. Maybe because I can't relate to the message. I wouldn't have made it a single, but it's impossible to say what would or would not make a hit. I mean, we all thought Marry the Night was going to slay.

yeah the whole teal era really suits Scheisse when you think about it

imagine the slayage tho

1.- BTW was #1 :legend:

2.- MTN could have also slayed like that as the second single :legend:

3.- ScheiBe as the third single with the teal hair and everything, top 5 easily :legend:

4.- TEOG= another top 5 hit :legend:

5.- and maybe you and I or heavy metal lover as the final single for the holidays :legend:

My Favs = Lady Gaga, Janet Jackson, Ricky Martin, AKB48

Youve completely missed the point i was making. I know the song isnt called Sh*t  :fail:  Im saying MAYBE the reason it wasnt released is because they didnt want to have a single that had to be HEAVILY censored in an entire country. Using the example that IF it was called sh*t, in english speaking countries it wouldnt get played.

Why lose a whole market (Germany) when you can release a single worldwide that doesnt need special editing treatment for one country.

I sort of agree with you. But remember that they released Y&I, a single pleasing almost only the US market, losing a lot of markets... so Scheiße could have been released as well. Ps: I think Germany is more open to songs with s-x themes and curse words.

(But I'm not attacking you, just saying I would have liked Scheiße to be a single  )

I mean honestly. I am not being rude but songs us stans don't particularly care for would probably do well on the charts. Like Fashion! from ARTPOP.

Probably on Grindr

MonsterofFame

And whose the producer of Scheibe? REDONE! The producer everyone still seems to not want Gaga to work with again.

I have to question the authenticity of that LM post though... I don't think I've ever seen Gaga so desperate and direct to explain and justify something that went wrong.
