It was winning all of the polls for the album, from both the fans and the GP, the views for it on VEVO were really high, the song was critically acclaimed as being the best on the album by many critics. Gaga herself said that she fought to make Scheisse a single, and also said that she would have preferred the BTW era to have gone "BTW > MTN > Scheisse > TEOG". It seems that she actually planned an entire look for Scheisse as well. The german look with the teal bob fits perfectly with the song. It's too fitting.
